Meet our CPCU designated insurance professionals
As part of our mission to serve our clients with the best resources and knowledge possible, several of our team members proudly hold the CPCU credential— the highest and most prestigious designation in Property & Casualty insurance from The Institutes. Only 8% of insurance industry professionals have a CPCU designation, and our team is part of this very small group!
What is the CPCU designation, and why is it important?
The Institutes’ CPCU designation is a highly acknowledged and prestigious professional credential granted to insurance agents, brokers, claims reps, risk managers, and underwriters specializing in risk management and property-casualty insurance. The CPCU teaches the fundamentals of risk management, managing risk data, modeling outcomes, and learning/applying new and innovative risk technologies. To comply with the CPCU Code of Conduct, any person who carries this certification must consistently exhibit their commitment to their career path and the insurance industry.
Meet our CPCU-designated Insurance Nerds
Janyra Pérez Blanco is a Fulcro Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and President of Fulcro Georgia. She is also a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent and a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) who always puts the interests of her clients first.
Enrique Pérez Blanco is Fulcro’s Resident Partner who leads U.S. Operations in Atlanta, and also acts as the Chief Growth & Innovation Officer for the company. As of recently, he proudly serves as Chairman of the Board of The Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, and is a Licensed Producer of Property and Casualty and Accident, Life, and Sickness, providing expert management and counseling to Fulcro’s clients.
Ramón Pérez Blanco has been the president of Fulcro since 2011 and continues to guide the company into success. As of June 2022, he was appointed as the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce President-Elect 2022-2023. Ramón graduated from Tulane University Law School, where he attained his Juris Doctorate Degree in Admiralty Law. He also studied at Georgia State University, where he got his Master of Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance.
Gisela Ocasio is the Senior Vice President of Fulcro’s Commercial Risk Practice and is a Licensed Producer of Property & Casualty insurance. She is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), an Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), as well as a Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR).
Last but not least, Rafael Lebron serves as Special Technical Advisor to Fulcro’s clients and has over 45 years of experience in the insurance industry. He holds 11 insurance and risk management professional/specialist designations, is a university professor, and acts as an expert witness in court as an insurance and risk management specialist.
