Fulcro Insurance Names New Executives
Since its founding, Fulcro goes all in with a female workforce in an industry dominated mainly by men.
San Juan, PR – The insurance brokerage firm, Fulcro Insurance, recently announced three new appointments to their senior management division and board of directors. The appointments of Janyra Pérez-Blanco, Joselys Ortíz-López, and Annette Santiago-Rivera are part of a more extensive process of restructuring and strengthening of the company toward its expansion plans in the United States.
“Since our inception 38 years ago, Fulcro has proven itself to be an innovative company. We have professionalized the practice of insurance brokerage in Puerto Rico, raising it to a world-class level of excellence,” said Ramón Pérez Blanco, Chief Executive Officer and President of Fulcro Insurance. Such values are inherent to the company’s DNA, and Fulcro Insurance welcomes this new era of growth led by the hands of professional and experienced women.
In addition to being a partner at the firm, and leader of the Private Client practice, Janyra will now also serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for all markets. Janyra brings over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry to the table, as well as a postgraduate degree in Risk Management from St. John’s University in New York.
Likewise, Joselys is now also a partner at Fulcro and Vice President of the Claims division. Joselys has over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines, and academic preparation in insurance management from the University of Georgia.
Lastly, Annette Santiago-Rivera was appointed as Fulcro’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for all markets. Annette brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, human resources, and general business administration, and holds a degree in business administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico.
